City life in Madrid is vibrant, but sometimes you need a break from the bustle. From the iconic Retiro Park to sunset views at Templo de Debod, plus lesser-known spots like Parque Juan Carlos I and Quinta de los Molinos, the city offers plenty of green escapes to recharge and enjoy a quieter side of Madrid.

One of the best parts of being a language assistant in València is the flexible timetable, which makes it easy to travel and explore during free time.

For hiking enthusiasts, the small pueblos around the city of València offer a plethora of breathtaking routes. Renting a car with a group of new friends is a great way to save money and access beautiful trails that are slightly further out each one well worth the trip. Many routes are also accessible by bus or train, such as the incredible hike in Buñol, which leads to a stunning waterfall and refreshing rock pools, perfect after a 3 hour trek. Swimming in the turquoise waters of Cuerva Turche and Cuerva de las Palomas, surrounded by close companions, brings a sense of peace and pure joy. Living in a city with such natural beauty is truly a gift.
